Erin Delawalla
Erin Delawalla is in relentless pursuit of investable solutions to environmental challenges and natural habitat loss. She developed the thesis for Land Steward Partners after years of working in the natural resource conservation industry and seeing an urgent need for more innovative strategies to deploy capital into land-based projects. At the center of this strategy is land stewardship and changing how we produce food. Erin leads Land Steward’s Partner vision, sourcing all deal partners and developing the approach for each investment project.
Erin is a former environmental attorney with fifteen years of experience working in the environmental regulatory permitting industry, renewable energy, conservation bank development, and new market development for ecosystem services. Most recently, Erin was a director of the National Water Solutions team and the Midwest Business Development team for Resource Environmental Solutions, LLC, the nation’s largest nature-based solutions project developer. She led the bid, contracting process, and establishment of the Wisconsin Water Quality Trading Clearinghouse, the first privately held water quality marketplace in the country. She also led the development of the company’s solar vegetation business in 2019, now exceeding over 30,000 acres of annual native vegetation seeding and management per year. Prior to her time at RES, Erin worked on Invenergy’s environmental and wildlife permitting team, managing over a gigawatt of utility scale solar and wind projects in the Great Plains and Mountain West region. She managed natural resources and impact avoidance in coordination with the US Fish & Wildlife Service, the Bureau of Land Management, state fish and game agencies, and national and local conservation nonprofits.

Mac Shropshire
Mac Shropshire leads underwriting and structuring on project-level investments, specifically focused on largescale land conservation investments.
Mac has spent his career in Corporate Finance, specifically focused in the nature-based solutions and environmental consulting industries. In 2021, Mac started his own firm, Mac Shropshire Consulting, focused on connecting Buyers and Sellers of nature-based solutions. Since 2021, the firm has closed over $250 million of nature-based solutions transactions for its clients. The firm also assists investors, landowners, and operating companies with financial modeling, market intelligence, strategic advisory, valuations, and raising capital. Prior to forming his consulting business, Mac led Corporate Finance functions for several Environmental companies, where he evaluated over $1 billion in compensatory mitigation, water quality/quantity, species conservation, and other Nature-Based Solutions. He holds a Master’s in Accounting from The University of Texas at Austin and is a licensed CPA in Texas.

Matt Skoglund
Matt is a first-generation rancher and the founder and owner of North Bridger Bison, a bison ranch rooted in Regenerative Agriculture principles located in Montana's Shields Valley. The Skoglund family sells Montana-raised, 100% grassfed, field-harvested bison meat direct-to-consumer across Montana and all over the country. Prior to starting North Bridger Bison in 2018, Matt was the Director of the Northern Rockies Office for the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), where he worked on various conservation issues in Montana and the Northern Rockies for a decade. A former college hockey player, Matt is a graduate of Middlebury College and the University of Illinois College of Law. He is passionate about food and ranching, and he loves to hunt, garden, cook, and forage for morel mushrooms in the spring. Matt and his wife, Sarah, have two young children, Otto and Greta.
Bob Wesley
Bob is a Deputy Director of Operations at Turner Ranches & the Turner Institute of Ecoagriculture. Wesley has been with Turner Enterprises for nearly 13 years. He has a Master of Science in Range Science and Management from New Mexico State University and a BS in Range Science and Management from Montana State University.
The Turner Ranches encompass over two million acres of land, making Turner one of the largest individual landowners in the country. Turner Enterprises manages over 45,000 bison across the ranch portfolio. The Turner Institute was founded to research, practice, and disseminate sustainable strategies and techniques for conserving ecosystems, agriculture and rural communities.
Kevin Leier
Kevin is a North Dakota bison rancher, managing 4,000 acres of regeneratively grazed bison near Rugby, ND on Heartland Bison Ranch. He is also the Chairman of the Board for North American Bison LLC, the processor of over 25% of the bison industry.
North American Bison LLC has been in operation for 28 years, partnering with independent ranchers that raise bison naturally and humanely, providing meat to grocery stores and restaurants worldwide. Leier also has his own direct-to-consumer brand, selling his best bison directly to families in his region. Leier is a second-generation bison rancher, and he lives on the ranch with his wife and six children
